Dracula’s famous Theatre Restaurant on the Gold Coast has had over 3 million guests. Extending over the existing area, the roof of the castle that houses Dracula’s was raised 5m to accommodate giant bone chandeliers. X200 Densi-Proof’s unique chemistry permanently blocks the capillaries of the concrete to ensure there is no water ingress through the concrete roof. The other big benefit was to give a surface that was stronger and that does not dust, meaning that subsequent applied topical membranes have a better stronger mechanical bond and of course, with no water movement through the slab carrying possible contamination or high alkali, no chance of a chemical break down.
